ARGANZ has entrusted Outshine with managing their Annual Meeting since 2018, with an ongoing collaboration for future events.
The 2026 ARGANZ meeting in Perth had a record 450 registered delegates. The Meeting was held at the Westin Perth over two full days on Saturday and Sunday, with a pre-meeting workshops and the inaugural Young ARGANZ Trainee Day on Friday. The offsite dinner took place at Fraser’s Function Centre, Kings Park.
ARGANZ has entrusted Outshine with managing their Annual Meeting since 2018, with an ongoing collaboration for future events. Previously held in Melbourne, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and the Gold Coast, the Meeting is planned for Sydney 2027, and Melbourne 2028.
The Meeting consists of two days of plenary and concurrent lectures, with networking functions and an off-site meeting dinner. There are three international keynote speakers, supported by Australian and New Zealand faculty.
There is a call for abstracts, which are reviewed and presented as either oral or poster presentations.
Pre-meeting there is a full day, practical workstation case-based workshop. Outshine arranges the workstations, and handles logistics of set-up and organisation. ARGANZ also hosts a pre-meeting Young ARGANZ Trainee Day.
The Meeting has grown from an average attendance of 280, to 450 delegates in 2026. Registrants are a mix of Specialists, Registrars/Trainees, JMO’s and healthcare industry from across Australia and New Zealand, with a small number of international delegates.
The Meeting is regularly attended by 8-10 exhibitors with a significant growth in the sponsorship investment year on year from returning companies.
