Outshine has proudly managed the AMSIG Annual Scientific Meeting since 2015 and is contracted through 2029. In addition to the conference, we support AMSIG with membership services and website management, working closely with the Executive team.
The 2026 meeting, held at the Shangri La Hotel, Sydney, Australia welcomed 375 delegates – 275 in person and 100 virtually. Spanning two days (Saturday and Sunday), the program featured a pre-meeting hands on live scanning workshop. The event concluded with an offsite dinner at The Museum Of Contemporary Art, overlooking the Opera House and Sydney Harbour.
Since 2015, Outshine has partnered with AMSIG to deliver their Annual Meeting across Australia and New Zealand.
The Meeting consists of two days of plenary sessions, with a networking function and an off-site meeting dinner. There is one international keynote speaker, supported by Australian and New Zealand faculty.
There is a call for abstracts, which are reviewed and presented as either oral or e-poster presentations. The sessions are live streamed and recorded for on-demand viewing.
Before the main meeting, 1–2 sponsored half-day, hands-on workshops are offered for up to 20 participants, focusing on RFA or ultrasound topics. Outshine secures sponsorship approximately 10 months in advance and manages all logistics, setup, and speaker coordination as needed.
Additionally, AMSIG hosts the Trainee Academy—a pre-meeting session designed for radiology trainees. Delivered both in person and via live stream, this session attracts up to 40 participants and provides an overview and guidance for Part II examinations.
The event typically attracts 250 in-person attendees and around 100 online participants. Delegates include a diverse mix of Specialists, Registrars/Trainees, JMOs, and healthcare industry professionals from across Australia and New Zealand, along with a small number of international guests
The Meeting is supported by 15 exhibitors, including imaging device suppliers, and radiology groups.
